OSU finished 3rd in the Eastern Intercollegiate Meat Judging Contest held October 4, 2003 in Wyalusing, PA.  Seven universities, 7 teams, 28 contestants and 26 alternates competed in the event.  Top five teams were as follows:

            1.            Texas A&M   4095

            2.            Texas Tech    4074

            3.            OKLAHOMA STATE            3958

            4.            Colorado State            3853

            5.            Ohio State   3838

 

In the overall contest Tyler Hickman finished 7th, Todd Dickinson 9th and Cassidy Bullington 11th.

 

2003 Excel Intercollegiate Meat Judging Contest Summary

 

OSU finished 2nd in the Excel Intercollegiate Meat Judging Contest held October 19, 2003 in Plainview, TX.  Eleven universities, 11 teams, 70 contestants competed in the event.  Top five teams were as follows:

            3.            Texas A&M   4110

            4.            Colorado State            4035

            5.            South Dakota State            4000

 

In the overall contest Tyler Hickman tied for 6th.

 

2003 American Royal Intercollegiate Meat Judging Contest Summary

 

OSU finished 2nd in the American Royal Intercollegiate Meat Judging Contest held November 2, 2003 in Emporia, Ks.  Twelve universities, 12 teams, 48 contestants and 29 alternates competed in the event.  Top five teams were as follows:

            4.            Kansas State            4001

In the overall contest Zeke Proctor tied for 4th and Tyler Hickman tied for 8th.
