OSU finished 2nd in the Excel Intercollegiate Meat Judging Contest
October 17, 1999 in Plainview, Texas. 
Twelve universities, 12 teams and 73 contestants competed in the event. 

Top five teams were as follows:
 1. Texas Tech    3875
 2. Oklahoma State   3823
 3. Texas A & M    3809
 4.  Kansas State   3804
 5.  Iowa State    3746
In the overall contest Laura Locke finished 7th, Josh Roberts finished 11th and Kelly Kramer finished 12th.

OSU finished 2nd in the Eastern Intercollegiate Meat Judging Contest
October 2, 1999 in Wyalusing, PA at Taylor Packing Company. 
Nine universities, nine teams, 36 contestants and 23 alternates competed in the event.
