Performance bull tests are 112 days in length. During the test, bulls are evaluated for:
• Average daily gain
• Weight per day of age
• Adjusted 365-day weight
• Scrotal circumference
• Ultrasound data (ribeye area, fat thickness, percent intramuscular fat)
• Hip height
• Performance ratios
• Expected progeny differences (EPDs)

A rule that all bull(s) tested at Oklahoma BEEF Inc. must be BVD-PI negative has been imposed. We recommend that you test your bull(s) before delivery to the station. If they are delivered without a negative BVD-PI test, you will be charged $25 for the BVD-PI testing to be performed on your bull(s). If the test comes back postive you will be required to pick up your bulls immediately.
