Access the file on the web page for problem set 7. This is an analysis of more than 6000 records involving several sires in several regions. We are examining the importance of a G x E interaction.

The sire solutions are the EPDs for the sires over all regions. Within region EPDs for a sire can be obtained by adding the sire solution for that sire to the sire x region solution for the that sire-region combination (eg sire 2 EPD in region 1 = sire 2 solution + sire2region1 solution). Calculate the overall EPDs for each sire and each sire EPD in each region. Rank the sires overall and rank them in each region. Discuss your observations about the ranks in conjunction with the genetic correlation you estimated from the variances.
