Also Known By: Weisser Alpenschaf, Blanc des Alpes, West Swiss White.

swisswhitealp.jpgThe Swiss White Alpine is a shortwooled breed kept primarily for meat. The breed originated in Switzerland (1936) from a cross between the Swiss White Mountain and 50-75% Ile-de-France.
