Breeds of Livestock - Karacabey Merino Sheep

Karacabey Merino

    karacabey-merino-web1.jpgFound in northwestern Anatolia in Turkey, this breed is a variety of Turkish Merino which originated from Kivircik graded up, since 1928, with German Mutton Merino. The breed has a medium-wool quality of its fleece and it also kept for meat and milk production.
