Breeds of Livestock - Kachhi Sheep

    kachhi1.jpgThe Kachhi is a thin tailed, mutton and wool type of sheep. It is found in the Ran of Katchh, Tharparker district and adjoining desert area of Sind Province of Pakistan.

    They are medium sized with a white body coat with a brown or blackish stumpy head. Legs often have brown markings. The wool yield is 2.0 kg (medium; fiber diameter 40.0m). They have a prominent roman nose, small ears, and a well developed udder.
