    The Herik breed is found in northern Anatolia in Turkey. They are a carpet wool breed also used for meat and dairy production. The breed is similar to the Dagliç, usually white with dark spots on the head. The males are horned and the females are usually polled. The Herik is also of the short fat-tail group of sheep.
