Breeds of Livestock - Algarve Churro Sheep

Algarve Churro

This meat and carpet wool breed is found in region of Faro in Portugal. They are white with black spots on the face and feet. Ten percent of the population is black. The breed is horned and originates from the Andalusian Churro which were imported between 1870 and 1890.
