A herd of brown, white and black goats.

Also Known By: Deghier, Deg yer, Dighi yer, Borana, Galla, Abgal, Boran, Modugh, Mudugh, Ogaden

 

The Somali is found in Somalia and northeast Kenya. The breed is used primarily for meat production.  They are primarily found in white but occasional individuals will have colored spots or patches.  The Somali has short hair and ears.  The males are horned and the females are either horned or polled.
